    Description

Up for auction is this Stunning very rare 1930-40's Airguide Barometer by the Fee & Stomwedel Inc. Chicago.
From my research, it appears that the Fee & Stomwedel Inc. mark was dropped by the late 1940's so that is why I am dating this beautiful barometer in the 1930-1940's.
It is a smaller Banjo style, but made with a solid hard wood, probably Walnut, but that is a guess on my part.  The bezel is glass with a beautiful brass rim.  The back plated of the barometer is also brass.  The thermometer is in perfect working condition and also has a stunning brass
    back-plate
    .
The item measures 11 5/8" in length and is 5 1/8" across the bottom at the widest point.
You can find later Airguide barometers that are small in the plastic but these older solid wood ones are very rare, especially in this incredible near mint condition.
Please see pictures for details, and good luck on the auction.
