Vaucouleurs Aerodrome
. There the 93d was assigned to the
3d Pursuit Group
, also known as the "Lafayette Group". The squadron began to receive
SPAD VII
pursuit planes and began receiving trained pilots. Although very under-equipped, the 93d Aero Squadron (Pursuit), began flying familiarization patrols beginning on 11 August.

You wouldn't believe the FLACK I'm getting from so called experts on these badges. They tell me they're fake but won't share their information.
Everything
I look up on the fakes keeps saying these baby's are REAL!!! I'm no stranger to early aviation items and have a broad knowledge of militaria, but I do consult experts on occasion and they are very honest and free with their information and explanations and I'M NOT GETTING THAT KIND OF LOVE from these experts and to me, that's a RED FLAG. I've run into this sort of conduct in the art business where an art dealer is trying to protect his client list, but never militaria,... Never until now at least.
BUT LET ME SHARE WITH YOU... silver purity is stamped on the back (only from 1890's to 1950s, but if you listen to the "Experts" these were supposedly forged recently because the forger is still around and you can see his work. This was clearly made before everyones favorite forger got into the act. Note also that this is "Coin Silver" grade, typical of the first half of the 20th Century. Also note the Maker Mark. I'm trying to run this down but it's not easy but for sure today's forgers are TOO LAZY to make a makers stamp because they'd need a variety. EVERYTHING THE EXPERTS TRY TO SCARE ME WITH GOES POOF because they won't or can't back up their claims. I went through this with a super rare wing owned by James Norman Hall once. Still have that wing and it's still real also. I have no use for "experts" who have nothing but a opinion based on HOT AIR.
HERE IS MY FINAL REPLY TO THE BIGGEST HYPOCRITES WHO CLAIM THEY ARE EXPERTS AND HAVE NOTHING CONSTRUCTIVE TO SHARE. TO WIT;
The only thing I've seen as far as fakes do not resemble what I have in the least, other than that, all you experts keep genuflecting to some phantom expert named "***" (don't want to get sued) who doesn't talk to anyone and offers no reasons why what I bought is fake. Now if you want to talk about Elvis, you should ask "***" the phantom expert.
When the "experts" want to compare it to something they have already proven but won't share it with anyone outside their special little group THAT IS A MAJOR RED FLAG and an admission they are a bunch of cons. Never have I been subject to such hypocrisy and self dealing. I'm shocked what you might think is a community of WWI aviation experts who won't share their knowledge is no knowledge at all. That is not only my opinion, but the opinion of every expert in any field I know, including myself. I am America's leading expert on Revolutions, and if someone asks me a question and wants to know why, I will share with them. I'm writing the book and it will be FREE.
Now, what has "***" your expert written, what have you written?
You want proof? I want proof. It's a two way street and I'm happy with the badges no worries. I've dealt with self important hypocrite cons before and have no problem dealing with them again. I guess I'll have to post the performance of all you hypocrites but I will leave out names so I don't get sued, but I've never in my life seen a bunch of irreputable closed mouthed "experts" supported by their "marks" who've they've taken to the cleaners and don't have the brains nor spine to know they've been "taken."
Truth be told, I probably have a larger WWI Aviation collection than most all of you worshipers of "***", the expert that keeps conning money out of all you suckers. That's why he won't talk to me because I call him out for what he really is... a CON. He may have started out straight, but you suckers are too easily picked because you never question anything he says, you just saddle up and let him ride you all. NOT MOI. I practice CRITICAL THINKING. You ought to try it.
These badges are rarer than hens teeth and this one is an original badge of the 93rd. I imagine someone will argue for or against but I stand by it and guarantee it to be original to the 93rd. All sales are final and there are no returns unless you can come up with a recognized expert in the field of WWI Aviation collectables WITH PROOF to countermand my guarantee. Then only once this original item has been insured, shipped, received and confirmed as the original item I shipped, by me, delivered signature required. Sorry to be firm on this but I, and others, have found this auction service to NOT honor their fiduciary duty too often to the sellers who foot the bill. It's not you and not me, but them. I'm sure you understand.
