This projector was made for the 100V Japanese market. It's input voltage stated on the back of the machine is 100V however the projector has a 125V transformer inside of it.
You may need an additional transformer to operate it, depending on where you live in the world.
This projector is in excellent condition except for some wear on the input guide. This would serve as a great Xenon machine for optical or silent films. As a later model GS-1200 it also could serve as a parts machine if you were going after the big parts like the reflector, lamp, motors, etc. One of the motors has a date code of January 1989...so this is a relatively new projector.
This projector is in excellent condition. While I do not know how many hours are on the lamp, I believe this lamp still has plenty of hours left in it.
The projector plays only optical films.
You will not be able to hear any magnetic Super 8 tracks on this machine or re-record magnetic tracks using this machine.
This projector comes with a Elmo Long throw 25-50 1.4 lens which will give you a nice bright image from far away. This lens alone sells for over 0.
The following items have been tested on this projector.
Lamp OK
Forward OK
Rewind OK(but after finishing reel and using speed rewind film was not tight as expected)
Xenon Lamp OK
Optical sound OK
Internal Speaker OK
Elmo Extension Speaker OK(extension speaker not included)
24 FPS Playback OK(I did not test 18FPS playback but I assume that works as well)
This is a used projector that has not been professionally serviced but it is in excellent condition for its age.
I have used it as a secondary machine to watch only optical films but it hardly gets enough use. So I am selling it on eBay. Feel free to ask any questions.
The projector will be shipped from Japan. There are some countries I cant ship to by air due to the decrease in air traffic around the world. Surface shipping is possible but will take at least two months for most places around the world.
Projector will be shipped "double boxed" in original box from Japan.
Customs duties and all other fees are the responsibility of the buyer. The insurance value and declared customs value of the projector will be the same as the price the projector sells for.
