    Description

    For sale, an over the counter or service replacement only 327 small journal block. General Motors upgraded it with stronger main webs and longer main bolts to help prevent the tendency of earlier 327's which crack in that area when subjected to high performance applications. It still retains the provision for installation of a crankcase vent system off the rear of the block as was done earlier. The casting number is 3959512. It is .030 bore with very little to no ring ridge.
