    Sir Peter Markham Scott CH, CBE, DSC & Bar, FRS, FZS, R.N.V.R> (14 Sep 1909-29 Aug 1989 was a British ornithologist, conservationist, painter, broadcaster and sportsman. He was the only child of Antarctic explorer Robert Falcon Scott. During WWII he is credited with designing ship camouflage, serving on destroyers, being one of the last British naval officers to evacuate from Dunkirk. After the war he created several wildlife refugees, participated in the search for the Loch Ness Monster, and appeared in numerous documentaries.
