    Description

    SOLD TO U.S. BIDDERS
    ONLY. WW1 Victory medal without clasp complete with it’s original box. Box is marked for the maker and contract to read : “The Art Metal Works,Inc./Newark,N.J.” and “Contract No.9089-N/Date: March 27,1920”. Victory medal is in
    excellent
    condition and retains it’s original matte finish. Has never been polished. Ribbon is the original ribbon with bright color and no staining that I could detect.
    Shows the lightest bit of wear at the brooch indicating it was occasionally worn.
    Box shows
    its 100+ years of age but still functions as intended. Overall moderate age discoloration, some short tears and creases. One of the small flaps is missing, this and the other issues are all as seen in the photos. Still a good example plus
