    Description

    For sale here is a great looking US WW1 Air Service Air Corps Pilot's Lapel Pin Wing.  The pin is screw back and has a present and functional disc.  The screw post is nice and straight.  The wing measures approximately 5/8" wide.  The wing is two tone with a gold shield and silver wings.  The wing isn't marked in any way, and the disc is marked DMW with a patent number.  The wing has fantastic detail that is really amazing!  The silver wings doe have a couple of spots of finish loss, and the patina here is near black, which leads me to believe this is a Sterling piece.  This is a rare piece that will make a great addition to your collection.  You will be pleased!
