    Original WW1 British Badge for the Royal Artillery with a carriage wheel that spins. As far as I can determine, there is no military, rank or unit significance to the spinning wheel, just that it is scarce compared with the same badge with a fixed or non-spinning wheel. Well made, nice detail, hollow die struck. Slightly vaulted or curved. Measures approximately 2 5/8” across at the widest. Moderate to heavy wear. Tarnish overall. Whitish crud in the recesses of the wheel and letters. The cross on the top of the king’s crown is bent back. Salty with a “been there” look. You are buying the material pictured. US shipping is .50 (1st Class mail with tracking).
