    “The Fighting Fifth” History of the Fifth Indian Division
    published by R.W. Pearce, Government of India, c1946.
    This small booklet of 50 pages is very similar (but slightly larger) to the GI Stories published at war’s end.
    The narrative is supported by numerous pictures (photos and drawings), maps, and an order of battle.
    The Fifth participated in campaigns in Abyssinia, the Near East, and, finally, Burma.
    This is another scarce unit history.

    Condition is near fine – downgraded due to a light crease on the rear cover.
